Mid Century Chair recover

My friend Jaclyn has amazing taste and loves midcentury furniture and decor.  She found this awesome chair and wanted me to recover the cushions.  I LOVE the fabric she picked out.  I pre washed the fabric and serged the edges along with adding a zipper so she can take them off and wash if needed or if she decides to go back to the navy leather, she can do that too.  Here is the before.  Once again, sorry for the iPhone pics.  I need to use my good camera!

BEFORE

Here is a shot of the cushions before we put them on her chair.

And here is the AFTER!!!  How gorgeous is this fabric!!  I love deep warm tones of orange, brown and olive.  Add a splash of robin's egg blue and this is just beautiful!!
I love how this chair turned out!

Pillows for a teen girl's room

I apologize for the bad quality iPhone pictures.  The sunlight streaming in didn't help either.  I made this chevron pillow for a friend's daughter's bed  It is linen with white linen piping and an invisible zipper.  Hard to see the piping in this angle.

This is the cutest orange/white fabric.  Client wanted just a simple Euro without piping.  Her daughter has twin beds so I made one for each bed.  Again, sorry for the bad lighting!
Here is a shot of the room and beds with the orange Euros.

New pillows

I did a small flat flange on these beautiful linen pillows.  My client wanted the medallion to be front and center so I lined up the fabric on both sides to show center.  I think one is sideways in the picture.  When it's midnight and I've just finished a project and try to take pictures, my brain isn't working at full speed.  I love how these turned out.

These pillows were for the same client, however she wanted them for her daughters new home.  She's a newlywed and just starting to decorate her first home.  What a fantastic mama to help pick out this beautiful fabric and help decorate!  I remember decorating my first home and the joy it brought me.  Brings back lots of memories.  I wish I had known how to sew 11 years ago!

My friend Katybell is a fabulous designer and she always has good projects for me.  These 3 Euros and bolster pillow are for a teen boy's room.  I don't know if he appreciates fine decor, but I sure do!  The bolster is this great masculine houndstooth and the grey fabric is perfect for a manly room.
I did these 2 navy velvet leopard pillows for a sweet lady I met off of Brentwood, Buy, Sell, Trade.  I've met the nicest people through that site.  I also reupholstered the cane chair for her and did another pillow.  The navy bordered one with the awesome navy and white geometric print.

Porch swing cushion, Chair cushions and pentagon shaped bench cushion

My customer is sending me pictures of the completed project, but until I get them, here are the pictures I took. I wish I had gotten better pictures. Kicking myself right now. I recently finished a big project for a customer who is getting married in October. She is getting married on a farm in Joelton and wanted to spruce up the outdoor space. I sewed a porch swing cushion with 3 pillows, pillow cushions for chairs she had painted, and a pentagon shaped bench cushion. These all had custom piping.
